The Ezell Group Insurance started in June of 2004 by Randy Ezell after leaving the telecom business. After a short stint as a "captive agent" Randy decided that to best serve his customers he needed to become an "Independent Agent" where he could offer more than just one company to his clients to assure he could meet all of their needs and be more competitive. In July of 2008 The Ezell Group bought the Jones & Associates agency in Greenwood Indiana and became one of the largest independents on the Southside. In June of 2010 Randy's wife Jean left the banking business and came into the business full time. Jean is the office manager and controller. Randy handles the sales, marketing, and day to day operations of the business. They have ten employees between sales and staff. On the P & C side they are about 70% commercial lines and 30% personal lines representing several great companies that allows them to be very competitive on rates. They have a robust Life & Health department offering all types of life policies, individual and group health policies, along with a full line of other benefits. They also have some speciality lines of business for emergency services.

 

Moving forward the focus will on customer service and providing the counseling individuals and business needs to make good insurance choices.
